Rosemary REYNOLDS (née Doyle)
Celbridge, Kildare
/ Finglas, Dublin
The family of the late Rosemary Reynolds (nee Doyle) of Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Kildonan Drive, Finglas, Dublin, who died on 6th December, 2022 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent enormous loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many relatives, friends, neighbours and carers who visited our home; all those who attended Rosemary's reposal; and especially, all those who attended Rosemary's beautiful Requiem Mass; all those who joined us in this celebration of Rosemary's extraordinary life and her burial afterwards in Donacomper Cemetery and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who contacted us directly, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, sent cards and sent or left messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.
A sincere thank you to... all the doctors, clinicians, nurses and carers in the Beacon Hospital, many of whom became good friends and who looked after Rosemary so well for more than 5 ½ years; our GP of more than 35 years, Vincent Walsh for always caring for Rosemary and who was a fantastic doctor and friend to Rosemary and to my entire family right through to the end of Rosemary’s life; the Celbridge community care nursing staff; St. Brigid’s hospice and their palliative care nursing team; and the Irish Cancer Society nursing staff who provided such wonderful support to allow us to fully realize Rosemary’s wish to be looked after at home …and where we as a family were able to care for her over the last 5 ½ weeks of her life; our long-time family friend, the V. Rev. Canon Martin Cosgrove who was our celebrant for Rosemary's beautiful Requiem Mass; the amazing Naoise Stuart-Kelly of Encore Occasions: the singer Andrea Delaney and accompanying musicians Jillian Saunders, Katie O'Connor & Karl Breen for their beautiful performance of the very special funeral music we selected to honour Rosemary's memory; Joan & Lorcan of AbFab Flowers for what everyone said were the most beautiful floral tributes and perfectly fitting for Rosemary; Cunninghams Funeral Directors, especially Michael & Robert for their compassionate and extermely professional advice, direction & handling of requirements including providing us with the beautuiful wicker casket that was Rosemary's specific wish.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
