Albert (Al) Young, Beachdale, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow

The family of the late Albert (Al) Young, Beachdale, Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, who passed away peacefully on the 26th September 2022 would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on our great loss. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent cards and messages of condolences on RIP.ie and social media, as well as those who made charitable donations, the family is truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to those who cared for Al with such kindness throughout his illness, GP Dr Omy Fulena; the staff of St Vincent's Hospital; Prof Janice Walsh and her oncology team; the palliative care team in St Vincent's Private Hospital, all of whom looked after Al with great dignity and respect and were an invaluable support to his family over the last few years.

Thanks to our Celebrant Fr. Joe Kennedy and musical accompanists for delivering a beautiful and dignified service that was so special for those who attended in person and for those who watched online. Thanks also to the management & staff of Mount Jerome Crematorium and to William Doyle Funeral Directors 

To those who helped in any way, your contribution has made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of their deepest gratitude. Thank You.

Albert’s Months Mind will be celebrated at Mass on Sunday, 30th October in St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole at 10am. All very welcome.
