O'Sullivan, John Finbarr. 41 Inishmore Park, Cobh, Co Cork / Castle Park, Kinsale Co Cork. Ex Irish Naval Service.
In loving memory of John Finbarr O’Sullivan whose First Anniversary falls on 9th August 2022. Much loved, greatly missed and always remembered.
At this time we, his family, would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to our immediate and extended families, friends, colleagues and neighbours and to anyone who helped us in any way and offered support and kindness over the past year.
Thank you to all those who called us, attended the funeral both in person and online, sent food and flowers, Mass cards, letters and messages and who generously shared their memories with us.
Thank you to Dr Doran, the paramedics and the staff of the Accident and Emergency CUH, who worked tirelessly, on the day, to try to save John’s life. Thank you to Dr Pender, Dr Bajwa and the team at West Beach Surgery and to Therese and all in Wilson’s Pharmacy.
Thank you to Fr Paul, the sacristan Anthony, the organist Dominic Finn, the singers John Daly and Kaileigh, who provided such a beautiful funeral Mass.
We would like to acknowledge and thank James Cahill and the team at Cahill’s Funeral Directors, for their exceptional service during such a difficult time, which was dealt with through ample compassion and true professionalism.
Thank you to John’s many good friends who always kept in contact, for their support and many stories remembering John (Sully).
Thank you to the members of The Irish Naval Service and The O.N.E for their impeccable guard of honour, a poignant tribute on the day.
As it is difficult to mention everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
Regina, Carmel, Charles, Niall and families, with Dad/Grandad forever in our hearts.
John’s anniversary Mass will be offered for all your intentions, to be held in St Colman’s Cathedral on Tuesday, August 9th, at 10am.
