Kitty Bateman (née King)
Craughwell, Co. Galway, Fedamore, Co. Limerick and late of Templeglantine, Co Limerick.
The family of the late Kitty Bateman, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 23rd 2022, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their sad loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the extended family, friends, neighbours and everyone who attended the removal and funeral and for supporting us at this difficult time. Thank you to all who joined us online for the funeral Mass, those who telephoned, messaged, sent Mass cards, letters and who travelled long distances to be with us. To all our friends who provided us with food during the days of our mother’s passing and funeral, we really appreciated it.
Our sincere thanks and gratitude to Canon Derek Feeney PP who was a faithful friend to our mother during her life in Craughwell and who celebrated her funeral Mass. We appreciated the presence of so many of her old friends who concelebrated her Mass: Fr. Damien Ryan PP, Fr Michael Hanley, Fr. Michael Cussen, Fr. Michael O’Shea, Fr. Eamon Fitzgibbon, Fr. O’Connor and Canon James Costello.
A special thank you to Dr. Ian O’Connor of Athenry Medical Centre, who gave Mam exceptional care during the last 15 years, we can never thank him enough for the kindness and care he gave to our mother. Thank you also to all those who cared for and supported our mother in her daily life over the years.
We appreciate the sensitive and professional help of Daffy’s Funeral Directors and the care they took with our mother’s funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. A Mass of thanksgiving for all your intentions will be celebrated as a mark of our appreciation.
“Those we love will live in our hearts forever”
Kitty’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St John the Baptist Church, Fedamore, on Saturday June 25th at 7p.m.
