Who passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of Paschal, Rose and Michael on Monday 28th March 2022.

Bridie' children Sean, Noel, Pauline, Patrick, Paschal, Rose and Michael, grandchildren Paul, Aidan, Chloe, Heather, Aoife and Moya, great grandchildren Donagh and Roisin, son-in-law Mick, daughter-in-law Caroline, brother Michael, nieces and nephew sister-in-law Mary and the extended Leahy and Forde families wish to sincerely thank all who called to the house, telephoned, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and sent messages of condolence online and on RIP. Your kind and sincere words gave us great comfort at this difficult time.

Thank you to the friends and neighbours who without thought came and gave the family support during the difficult days following Bridie's passing, to the people who sent floral tributes, dropped food and refreshments to our home, thank you.

We appreciate all those who gathered outside our home and those who stood along the funeral route to pay respect as Bridie made her final journey and to relatives and friends who travelled long distances to attend and be with us.

We would like to sincerely thank Fr. Joe Clarke for being such a good friend to Bridie and the family, for celebrating Bridie's life in a most beautiful Requiem Mass. Fr. Sweeney and Fr. Lawless for co-celebrating. Fr Christopher who prayed with the family in the house, Thank you.

Thanks to Yvonne Barrett who provided beautiful music and singing during Bridie's funeral mass and John Joe Forde who played at Bridie's resting place.

Thanks to Nancy Leahy and Maura McLoughlin who ensured the church looked so well and everything went smoothly.

Sincere thanks to Dr. Kevin McDonogh and staff in St. Brendan's Medical Centre who looked after Mammy so well over the years; Dr. Susan in Lakeshore Medical Centre who attended Mammy in recent times; PHN Mary Murray who was always there for support, advice and ensuring Mammy got the services which allowed her to stay in her home; Home help Claire Barrett who helped to make Mammy comfortable and happy at home. Anne from the Palliative Care Team who was there to support when required.

Dolores Donnellan (Delaney) - nothing we can say can express how much we appreciate you being there and your advice, guidance and help during the most difficult times and being such a wonderful friend.

Special thanks to Fergal, Valerie and all the staff of Leahy's Pharmacy, for their kindness, friendship, patience and support over the years.

To our wonderful neighbours and friends who lovingly prepared Mammy's final resting place so sensitively perfect, our heartfelt gratitude always.

To the Meadow Court Hotel for the lovely meal provided after the funeral.

Our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Sean Cleary and all the staff in Kilboy's Funeral Directors for their professionalism, support and guidance throughout this difficult and sad time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. In gratitude a Mass of Thanksgiving will be offered for your intentions.

Mammy, you left us with beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
Although we cannot see you, your always by our side,
A special place within our hearts will always be kept for you.

Bridie's Months Mind Mass will take place in St. Dympna's Church, Killeenadeema on Friday 6th May at 7pm.
