Evelyn, Stephen, Michael, Colin, David, Mark and James wish to take this opportunity to most sincerely thank all of those who have supported us following the loss of our beloved husband and father.

We wish to thank our family, friends and neighbours who supported us at the time of the funeral and ever since. Thank you to everyone who dropped in with food, flowers and many gifts throughout this last year. Thank you to everyone for all the Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters which provided great comfort through these tough times.

Thank you to the oncology team in Tullamore hospital and a special thanks to the staff of Medical 1 who cared so compassionately for Mick and us during his final days.

Thank you too all the staff at Ferbane Health Centre, Dr. Sheila Stephens and all her team, to Marian the public health nurse, to the staff of Aidan Walshes Pharmacy Ferbane, your care and kindness will never be forgotten.

A special thank you to Fr. Peter Burke and Fr. Michael Morris who celebrated a very meaningful Mass. To Marie, Brownie and Brendan whose beautiful music added so much to the ceremony, thank you.

To Joe Grennan funeral director who provided such a professional, but personal, service with all the funeral arrangements, thank you.

To everyone who lined the road when we brought Mick home and joined the prayers outside our home and again the day of the funeral, thank you. To Foroige and Ferbane GAA for their guards of honour we will be forever grateful.

Mick's first anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, the 5th of February, at 10am at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane and may be viewed on www.ferbaneparish.ie

They say time heals all sorrow

and helps us to forget,

but time has only proven

how much we miss you yet.
