Helen Power

Helen Power (née Johnston)

Ard Lorcan, Stillorgan, Dublin
/ Drimnagh, Dublin

Helen’s sons Karl & Glen, daughter-in-law Vanessa & all her family wish to extend our most sincere thanks for the many kind expressions of sympathy & support shown to us throughout Helen’s sad passing & in the time since.

Thank you to those who visited the funeral home, attended Helen’s funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & floral tributes & all those who travelled long distances, phoned, wrote or shared kind messages online.

Our most sincere thanks to Andrea, Paddy & all their staff at Asgard Lodge Nursing Home for their exceptional care & kindness throughout Helen’s time with them.

Very special thanks also to Fr Brian McKittrick for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, to our cousins Nicole & Leanne for such wonderful music & to Fr John Ferris for his lovely committal service.

Thank you also to the staff of Shanganagh Cemetery for tending to the grave, the management & staff of the Glenview Hotel for their hospitality & all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for their compassion,  understanding and help through this sad time.

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

As Helen wrote in her poem

"So try to remember

As we ride this great plain.

Try as we may.

Nothing stays the same".

Helen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 16th January at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam
