As we approach Tom’s First Anniversary, we his loving family and relatives wish to sincerely acknowledge and thank all of you that offered us such great support, sympathy and so many gestures of kindness following Tom’s most unfortunate passing. During that sad time between the loss of Tom and the Covid 19 epidemic when it was virtually impossible to do what comes most natural, became impossible. No shaking hands or hugging, and only small numbers allowed to attend funerals was all new to us. We especially thank all who stood out on those cold days as Tom was brought to the Church and on his final journey to Lislaughtin Abbey and not forgetting the Ballylongford G.A.A. for providing the guard of honour to and from the church. We would also like to particularly acknowledge the help and wonderful services provided by the Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue Unit and our local Garda John McEnery and his colleagues in Listowel Garda Station and all of Tom’s and our neighbours who gave such wonderful assistance in our time of great need. To all of you who sent mass cards or phoned, text or used WhatsA pp and everybody that offered their condolences messages on the deaths rip website indeed all of those gestures were very heartening to us and very welcomely received. We wish to acknowledge our thanks to Rev.Fr Michael Hussey P.P. Padraig O Conocubhair and all at St Michael the Archangel Church, Stevie Donegan for the lovely music and singing, the grave diggers and Lynch’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism, sensitivity and kindness shown to us at all times during that difficult time. To everyone who helped in any small way we thank you as your care made our loss more bearable. It would be impossible to thank everybody individually, but please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation for all of y our kindness and support to which the holy sacrifice of the mass has been offered for your intentions.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
