Sr. Carmel Fanning
The death has taken place March 4th 2024 of Sr. Carmel Fanning
St Joseph’s Convent of Mercy, Newtownkennedy Street, Strabane and formerly of Derry and Dublin.
Beloved daughter of the late Elizabeth and Patrick Joseph Fanning,
much loved sister of Vivienne, Hilary, Brian, Geraldine
and the late Enda, Babs, Eugene, Gemma, Gay and Austin.
Reposing at St Joseph’s Convent of Mercy, Newtownkennedy Street, Strabane on Tuesday (March 5th) from 2p.m.
Funeral leaving St Joseph’s on Thursday (March 7th) at 11.30a.m. for
Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane at 12noon.
Interment afterwards in the Convent Cemetery.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews,
extended family circle, the Sisters of Mercy, Strabane and the Sisters of the Northern Province.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
