Rita passed away peacefully, in the tender care of HDU, University Hospital Limerick, on 20th April 2024.

Beloved wife Gerry and dearest mother of Nicola, Eoin & the late Gearóid.

Sadly missed by her loving husband and children, her adored grandchildren Oscar, Eli, Teagan, Harrison, Morgan & Rhys, Nicola & Eoin’s partners, her sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and her many friends.

Predeceased by her parents Margaret & Timmers McCarthy and her brother Davy and niece Jeannette McCarthy.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Monday, 22nd April from 4pm to 5:30pm. Funeral arriving Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Janesboro on Tuesday, 23rd April for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Mount St. Oliver Cemetery
