Richard 'Dick' Stanley

Richard ‘Dick’ Stanley (Carrickmines, Dublin 18 and formerly of Woodford, Co. Galway), May 9th, 2024 peacefully and surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of Dalkey Community Unit, in his 93rd year.

Beloved husband of Maura and loving father of Cathal, Dymphna, Breda, Richard, Conchita, Enda, the late Fergal, Marius and Dermot. Predeceased by his brothers Sean, Liam, Fr Jim, Fr Pat, Noel and by his sister Eileen. Sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sons, grandchildren Lauren, Richie, Robert, James, Isabella, Shauna, Nicholas, Thomas, Luíse, Christian, and great grandson Leo. Daughters-in-law Riona and Noeleen, and sons-in-law Richard, Roy and Joe, sisters Mary, Pearl and Sr. Theresa, brothers Joe, Fr. Cathal and Sam, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 5 Newtown Park, Blackrock, Co. Dublin, on Sunday, 12th May 2024, from 3pm to 5pm. Removal to Saint Brigid’s Church, Cabinteely, on Monday, 13th May 2024, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.
