Pat RICKARD

The death has occurred of Pat RICKARD, Valley Cottages, Mullingar, April 9, 2024, suddenly, but peacefully, at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin; pre-deceased by his parents Joe and Peggy Rickard, brother John, uncle Jimmy Newman and nephew Shane O'Connor. Pat will be remembered and sadly missed by his sister Eileen (O'Connor), brother-in-law Ger, sister-in-law Vera Rickard, nieces and nephews Martin, Joe, Alan, Laura, and Claire. Loved and missed by his grandnephews, grandnieces, the extended Rickard family, good friend and neighbour Marie Daly. Pat will be greatly missed by his family, his former workmates in An Post, Mullingar and his beloved Kilbeggan Pitch and Putt Club. Special thanks to Dr. Rachel Cartlidge- Eighan, Sheila at the Castletown-Geoghegan Health Clinc, Dr. Sheehy and Staff at Mullingar Regional Hospital.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Thursday, April 11, from 5.00 o'c. until 7.00 o'c. and in keeping with Pat's wishes a cremation will take place at a later date. To leave a message of sympathy for the family, please use the Condolence Book section.
