Mary Carey (née Donoghue), Aughadoone, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Ballydesmond, Co. Cork ,peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar surrounded by her loving family on 7th May 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Sean, parents John and Kitty and brothers Paddy and John Joe.

Beloved mother of John Joe, Paddy, Eddie and Billy. She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughter in law Aoife, cherished grandchildren Oisín, Molly and Ruby, brother Eddie (Ballydesmond, Co. Cork), sister Kathleen Boreham (Lincoln), brother in law Paddy Carey and his wife Patricia (Shanahee, Belmullet), good friend John Carroll (Ballydesmond, Co. Cork), nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May Her Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet, on Thursday evening from 5pm until 6.30pm with funeral arriving at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.
