John Nason

Nason (Barrett’s Buildings, Cork), on May 9th 2024, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at The Poppy Ward, Heather House; John (mason), husband of the late Margaret (née Ryan), much loved father of Paul, Sean, Greg and Mark and dear brother of the late Christy. Sadly missed by his heartbroken sons, grandchildren Laura, Chloe, Sophie, Amy, Lisa, Olivia, Matthew and Gemma, great-grandson Christopher, sisters Rita (Moore), Lil (O’ Donnell) and Miriam (Finlay), daughters-in-law Phil and Maria, Mark’s partner Honoka, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. John was pre-deceased by his partner Nora.

Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday, May 12th, from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass in The North Cathedral on Monday, May 13th, at 10.00am, which will be live-streamed on www.corkcathedral.ie. Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery.
