John (Johnny) Mahony,

who passed away peacefully from this life on the 22nd April in the wonderful care of his loving family and the staff of University Hospital, Galway.

 

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Nancy and his sister Katie Daly.

 

John, much loved husband and best friend to Nancy.

 

John will be deeply missed by his loving children Patricia, Caroline, Sean and Ann.

Sadly missed by his brother Tony, sister Margaret Treston, daughter-in-law Pauline, sons-in-law Leo, Chris and Tomás.

Adored grandfather of Jack, James, Christopher, Patrick, John, Oisin, Liam, Patrick and Eve along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and his many friends in his beloved Moyleen, Loughrea and all over Galway.

 

John will lie in repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63) on Wednesday, 24th April, from 5pm to 7pm.

John’s funeral cortege will arrive to St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea for Requiem Mass on Thursday, 25th April, at 12.30 pm followed by burial afterwards in Kilmeen Cemetery.

 

House strictly private on Thursday morning, by request.

 

May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
