Joan Murphy
(née Lovell)

Murphy (Butchers Row, Kinsale and late of Ballinadee) on April 22nd 2024 peacefully in the wonderful care of the Staff at Haven Bay Care Centre, Kinsale. Joan (nee Lovell), beloved wife of the late Jim, partner and best friend of Mikey and dear mother of Daniel, Claire (O'Neill) and Terri (Buttrum). Predeceased by her brother Philip.

Sadly missed by her loving partner, family, daughter-in-law Anne, sons-in-law John and Ger, grandchildren Jim, Frank, Will, Molly, Lauren and Jack, great-granddaughter Bea, brothers and sisters Flor, Eleanor, Phylis, Tom, John and Paddy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Joan will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale on Friday evening from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

Removal from Funeral Home on Saturday at 1.10pm approx and will be passing her home at Butchers Row en route to St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale for Requiem Mass at 1.30pm which will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, funeral afterwards to St. Eltin's Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Irish Kidney Association.
