It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ethel McDonnell at Connolly Hospital.

Ethel was preceded in death by her beloved husband William (Willie), grandchildren, Claire-Jane and Lucy, her sister Sheila, and her brothers Paddy and Louis.

She was the cherished wife of the late William (Willie) and the devoted mother of Willie, Antoinette, Bernard, Tony, Marie, Debbie, Katherine, and Irene.

Ethel's memory will forever be treasured by her children, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters Nellie and Carmel, brothers Paul and Anthony, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

May Ethel’s soul rest tenderly in eternal peace.

In celebration of her life, friends and relatives are invited to pay their respects at Michael Doyle Funeral Home, Finglas Village, on Monday, the 13th of May, from 3 pm to 5 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday morning at Saint Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Rivermount, Finglas South, commencing at 10 o’clock, followed by burial at Dardistown Cemetery.
