Deirdre Whelan
(née Lynch)
Whelan (Née Lynch) (Douglas, Cork and Late of Roscommon).
It is with deep sadness the Whelan family announce the sudden passing of Deirdre, on 8th March 2021, surrounded by her heartbroken family in Cork University Hospital. Cherished wife of James, adoring and much loved mother of Thomas, Ian and Ellen. Beloved daughter of Ena and the late Thomas and daughter-in-law of Una and the late Tommie.
Sadly missed and always remembered by her loving siblings, Jacinta, Lorcan, Edel and Ronan, especially missed by John and Cáit, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, large circle of friends and neighbours.

In keeping with current Government Guidelines on public gatherings the funeral will take place privately.
