I am so shocked and saddened to hear the sad news of Tom’s untimely passing. Unfortunately I only heard today 14th April. My sincerest condolences to you Joe, Nora Kevin and Edel and extended family.
A gentleman through and through was Tom and his kindness showed no bounds. He will be forever missed. Rest in peace Tom.

I worked with Tom during my time spent at Fonthill An Post. I also remember having the pleasure of working alongside Tom on a split-collection duty that covered the vast Lucan, Newcastle and Baldonel Casement Aerodrome areas. I learned how to do that duty efficiently by the way Tom showed me and because he was by the book about it. I extend my condolences to all his family and friends at this most difficult time. Very sad news on the passing of Tom. He was a lovely, kind person who spoke in a gentle voice. His late parents loved him dearly as too his brothers and sisters. We are absolutely heartbroken to hear of Tom’s passing yesterday. Tom was like part of our family. He was a good friend to Ger down through the years. We enjoyed our breaks in Kenmare with Tom.
