My sincerest condolences to Paddys family on his passing. He was passionate about his career and I met him lots of times in both kilbeggan Galway and Roscommon Races. He was always so kind and generous with his time and I had many dealings with him from my time working in Shannonside and Midlands 103 Radio. Lord rest his soul.

Paddy I am so sad that we won’t meet again. You spoke so fondly of your friends and their children, your childhood, and the pride in your work. What devastating news for all who loved you.

Just learned of Paddy’s tragic passing, through disturbing media reports. Any time I met him, either at racing events or in Kilbeggan, I found him to be formidable, professional and very welcoming. As soon as you arrived, he’d put the kettle on. It was obvious how proud he was of the track, and in particular of the Midland National. Now at peace. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

So very sorry to hear of Paddys departure from this world, he was forthright, considerate, passionate, professional and above all kind. Always had a word of advise, and direction, and never afraid to have an opinion even if unpopular. He was always welcoming, had a great sense of humour, and loved Kilbeggan and the midlands. Paddy may you sore to new heights, and may peace be your welcoming friend. To Paddy's family and many friends, we offer our deepest condolences. A life well lived, and a man with good as his guiding compass. Rest in peace Paddy. We will miss you as the first stop on our annual pilgrimmage at Christmas time.

Such wonderful tributes to a man who was so loved and respected. My heart is sad to think he has left this life so tragically. Rest in peace and may a host of angels and horses accompany you across the great fences into heaven.

challenged by the authorities in as retribution for challenging the media right. We talk about horse welfare but they owed a duty of care to Paddy and human welfare was not shown to Paddy. I hope you are now at peace.
