Michael and I were classmates in Willow Park school. So we were the same age.

Also we have been friends on Facebook for quite a number of years.

I was surprised to hear of his recent death but don’t worry Michael we will not be too far behind you. Keep a seat for me around the fire and we can reminisce.

As I watched the funeral on webcam from Calgary, Alberta this morning, I thought of all the lovely things Michael did for me during his life. He was my uncle, brother, friend and defender. I am honoured to have known him and will miss and love him always. Rest in peace, you have earned it. Love, Jane.

It was with deep sadness I heard of Michael's passing. We had many wonderful years working together. He was a trail blazer in the Irish Media industry and changed it for the better when he established TMB Advertising (later The Media Bureau), the first independent media specialist in the country. In more recent years, since his retirement, I enjoyed meeting him out and about on the streets of Greystones. My sincere condolences to his family.

Sending condolences to you all on the passing of your lovely dad. I have such fond memories of him when we had sleepovers, and the endless lifts he gave me all those years ago. He always had a smile and kind word. Take care of yourselves in these difficult weeks. x

Am so sad to hear of Micheal Bowles passing, he was so kind and I will never forget him and the lovely times spent with the Bowles family. Such a generous and lovely man, he will be greatly missed.

We were both shocked and extremely saddened to learn of the death of Michael. We have both known him for a very long time, and really enjoyed his company thoroughly any time we met.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Michael. I remember him from Trimleston, Booterstown, where I grew up and became friends with Judy, his sister. In recent years I met him occasionally in Greystones. I send my sincere condolences to all Michael's family, may he rest in peace.
