Sincere sympathy to Anne and all the family on Joe's death.
Joe was such a rock of sense, yet full of new ideas and always giving ideas from others a hearing too.
From the days of the school uniforms in Meehan Bros. to the days and nights and nights and days of rehearsals in Sligo Drama Circle, Joe was always there, first backstage, and then "graduating" to acting especially memorable playing in Brian Friel's "Lovers - the Losers".
He was such a force for good in ploughing ahead with the Theatre for Sligo project. He was always at hand to lend a hand. It is hard to believe that he has slipped away from this life.
