Just today I learned of Jerry’s passing. What a nice man, had great conversations with him over the years. He should have wrote a book.
Condolences to all his family another great Pollerton man gone.

He would always put a smile on your face when meeting him especially when passing him going to Willie Rath's shop, what should have been 5 minutes to get to the shop would take you a half hour chatting to Jerry, but you would be in a much better mood after it. Our heartfelt condolences to Jerry's family and friends. Jerry was a daily visitor to our Pool since it's opened 30 years ago. He always enjoyed the walk from Pollerton to the pool and in recent years the lift from his good friend and neighbour Ray. Jerry's arrival at the pool always added a smile to our day, with his witty banter and long gone tales of his travels. Everyone at Graiguecullen Swimming Pool will miss him dearly.
