Dear Bernie, Just heard this morning that Diarmuid had died. I will miss meeting him going to the shops. He was a great soldier. Sincere condolences to you all.

I was so sorry to hear of Diarmuid's passing. He was such a warm, lovely and light-hearted person. Bridge wasn't nearly so much fun when he wasn't there! I know you'll miss him terribly but I am sure that you have lots of happy memories that, in time, will help you. You're in my thoughts.

Dear Bernie, Breeda, i was so saddened to hear of Diarmuids passing. I have lots of lovely memories of our good old days/ evenings when i worked with Air Canada. He was a lovely man with a great sense of humour. Hopefully the lovely memories you have of him will get you through this very difficult time.

A gorgeous man in every way. As children and his nieces we always loved when he came visiting . There was always a giggle, a laugh and so much fun. His sense of devilment was always a delight and we have so so many fond memories of the joy he brought to every occasion. To my dear Auntie Bernie and Hugh I have so many fond happy and funny memories of Uncle Diarmuid when we were kids growing up. Uncle DeeDee, our favourite uncle.....so full of fun, divilment, kindness and craic. Lots of memories of a larger than life man who lived life to the full. Heartbroken for you Bernie, Hugh, Abigail and George. You will all miss him hugely.
