Denis Walsh

We were all most saddened at the news of Denis' passing. He was a great character, a gentleman, and always cheerful with a story and a laugh, and a great friend to all, especially my family, over many years.

Denis was a close friend to my father, Victor. He was so good to him while he was struggling with his illness, and someone that Dad was always so happy to see, picking him up when he was down. I like to think they're re-united now in joy and peace, chewing the fat over countless cups of tea and biscuits.

Kind and thoughtful, Denis was always willing to share his wisdom and help anyone out, with everything from cooking tips to advice on motors!

He will be greatly missed and, on behalf of my family, we offer our most sincere condolences to Stephanie and all the family at this time of grief and sadness.

His spirit will always be remembered.

So sad to hear of Dennis’s sad passing. Dennis was such a part of the fabric of life in A W Ennis over the years. I have such great memories of his time here and the stories he told. He was a great friend and companion of Victor Ennis for such a long time and it was lovely that both himself and Stephanie kept in contact with us after he retired. RIP Dennis
