Late of Veritas and Chess Editor of the Evening Herald. In the loving care of the staff at Dalkey Lodge Nursing Home. James (Jim), deeply regretted by his wife Maeve, daughter Clare, sons Peter and David, brothers Michael and Pat, sister Angela, brother-in-law Joseph, daughter-in-law Geraldine, grandchildren Lauren and Elaine, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan and Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin (opp. Sallynoggin Church). Removal on Saturday morning to The Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney, arriving at 9.50am. Funeral immediately after 10am Requiem Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. House Private. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Hospice.
