Patrick Smiddy

Pat, passed away peacefully on Sunday 14th April 2024 surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff of St Camillus ward, Mercy University Hospital, Cork. Sadly missed by his wife, Cáit (nee Twohig) children Claire, Aileen and Declan; son-in-law Murray Ballard, daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren Caelan, Niamh, Rían, Tiernan and Connor, brother Joe, sisters-in-law Vera and Joan Smiddy and Maura Twohig, brothers-in-law Jim Twohig and Martin Hallinan, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his brothers John, Mick and Willie, his sisters Bree Motherway and Neta O' Connor.

Rest in Peace

Pat will repose at Egan's Funeral Home, Greencloyne, Youghal, on Tuesday evening, 16th April, from 5.30pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 17th April, at 10am in The Church of the Holy Family, Magners Hill, Youghal.

Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork for cremation service at 1pm. Pats ashes will be buried privately at North Abbey Cemetery at a later date.
