Margaret OWENS
(née Rushe)

The death has occurred of Maggie Jane (Margaret) Owens (née Rushe), Brackloon, Castleplunkett, Co Roscommon and formerly of Mantua, Elphin , aged 102. Peacefully on the 6th of April 2024 in the loving care of her family and the exceptional staff of Fearna Manor Nursing Home, Castlerea.

Predeceased by her husband Lawrence, son Gerard, brothers John Joe, Michael, Jimmy, sisters Mary Kate, Josie, Winnie, deceased nephews and extended family. Dearly missed by her daughter Eileen (Finan, Trien), son Padraig, son-in-law JJ, daughter-in-law Margaret, grandchildren Sinead (Shane), Cathal (Edel), Gráinne (Sean), Niamh (James), Lorcán and Tricia, her seven great grandchildren Ella, Katie, Conor, Padraig, Eoin, Aoife and Sophie, her sister-in-law Theresa Owens and Maggie's extended family, friends and neighbours.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at Flanagan's Funeral Home, Ballymoe F45DN79 on Monday evening from 4.30-7.30pm, with removal to St Bride's Church, Ballintubber F45AK50 at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon on Tuesday with burial afterwards in Ballintubber Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Roscommon Palliative Care.
