Margaret died on March 27th 2024, peacefully with her family, in the loving care of the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Tullamore Regional Hospital, having previously resided in the excellent care of Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara. She was a native of Gallen, Ferbane and was predeceased by her beloved parents Bridie and Johnny Coughlan.

Margaret will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving daughters, Eve Downes, Sandra and Lisa, their father Liam, grandchildren, Katelyn, Emily, Aaron, Lauren, Padraig, Cian and Odhran, brother James (Jim), sisters, Marie D'Arcy and Breeda Maher, son-in-law Hughie, Lisa's partner Andrew, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

Grant Margaret Eternal Rest and Peace

Margaret will repose at her daughter Eve Downes' home in Clonshanny, Clara on Good Friday (March 29th) from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Holy Saturday (March 30th) to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane, where her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10am and may be viewed on http://www.ferbaneparish.ie. Interment afterwards in Kilrehan Cemetery.
