The death has occurred of
Malcolm Ross-Macdonald
Ross-Macdonald, Malcolm, Sunday, February 25th, 2024 (originally from Chipping Sodbury, UK and latterly of Crinkill, Birr and Banagher, Co. Offaly) peacefully at Tullamore Hospital. He was "standing and breathing" until a few days short of his 92nd birthday. After a brief illness, he spent his last days with daughters Petra and Candida, son-in-law Richard and grandchildren Corrina and Myles. He will also be sadly missed by brother David, grandson Oscar, and many friends.
Malcolm's remains have been bequeathed to the R.C.S.I. as he wished.
A memorial gathering to share brief condolences or special memories will be held on Saturday, 27th April, 11.30–2pm at Birr Theatre and Arts Centre. Readings and family remembrances at noon, followed by informal refreshments.
Donations in Lieu, if wished, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, who greatly enhanced the last year of life for his wife Ingrid. www.alzheimer.ie
