John Duffy

The death has occurred of John Duffy, Tattygar, (Blackhill) Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Wednesday March 27th peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Phil and Alice, sister Philomena, brother Pat, son in-law Fergal, daughters in-law Denise and Sarah, grandson Patrick and great-grandson Lorcan.

Sadly missed by his devoted wife Joan, daughters Caroline (Dessie) and Colette (Barry), sons Terry (Michele), Gerard (Mary) and Sean (Bernie), brother Barney (Briege), brother in-law, sisters in-law, his fifteen loving grandchildren and twelve cherished great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear relatives, friends and neighbours.

John will repose at Wards Funeral Home, Dublin Rd, Castleblayney tomorrow Thursday from 3pm until 7pm. John’s funeral cortège will travel from the family home in Tattygar on Saturday afternoon at 12:30pm to arrive at St Mary’s Church Castleblayney for Funeral Liturgy at 1pm, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
