LALLY Gerry. Ballyconnell, Kilbeacanty, Gort, Co. Galway. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on the 15th of April, 2024, in the tender care of the staff of the Corrib Ward, U.H.G.

Pre-deceased by his parent’s Delia & Jimmy Joe, by his brother James, infant brother PJ and brother-in-law Tom Keogh.

Gerry will forever be in the hearts of his loving family. Cherished and much loved husband of Josephine and father of Lorraine, Caroline and Gerard. Fondly remembered by Gerard’s partner Diana and by his adored grandson Gerry. Sadly missed by his brother Miko (Michael), (Dublin), sister Mary Keogh (Ballinasloe), sisters-in-law Margaret and Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, great neighbours, many friends and by the extended Lally and Hassett families.

Gerry will lie in repose at his residence, Ballyconnell, Kilbeacanty, (H91 WY98) on Thursday evening, April 18th, from 5pm until 7pm. Private removal on Friday, April 19th with the funeral cortege arriving to St. Columba's Church, Kilbeacanty, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Gerry will be laid to rest afterwards in Rakerin Cemetery. Flowers welcome or donations if desired to Gort Cancer Support. Please note a one way traffic system will be in place on the evening of the reposal persons attending are asked to enter only via the R353 at Moran’s cross and exit via Spatter’s Cross. Please follow the signs and adhere to the traffic stewards in place.

Gerry’s family deeply appreciate your kindness, loyalty, love and support at this time. We wish to thank all who cared for Gerry during his illness. Finally a special word of thanks to our wonderful family, neighbours, friends and the people of Kilbeacanty for all they have done to help us in these difficult days.
