Edmond (Basil) Brennan (Dean Cavanagh Place, Kilkenny City) died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on 14th April 2024. Predeceased by his wife Stella (nee Kennedy) and his son Joe. Deeply regretted by his family David, John, Basil, Peadar, James, Declan and Rita. Basil will be deeply missed by his daughter in law Fran, grandaughters Natasha, Paige, Haliey and Jade, nieces Paula and Miriam, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Basil will be reposing in Shasby’s Funeral Home Kilkenny City on Tuesday 16th April 2024 from 5pm concluding with rosary at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Cathedral Kilkenny City on Wednesday morning (17th) at 11am followed by burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery.
