My most sincere condolences to all the family. Tom worked at Millbrae and my mother is a resident and Tom was always very kind and helpful and thoughtful. He will be sadly missed. May he have eternal rest in heaven.

My deepest sympathy to all the Brouder family on the sad loss of Tom. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was a lovely man and a born carer. Besides being capable and having common sense to deal with any situation, he never forgot that ultimately he was dealing with people, many of whom were dependent on others to look after them. Tom was one of those kind staff at Millbrae who looked after me when I spent weeks there after surgery. He was so kind and cheerful and everyone liked and looked up to him. He will be sadly missed and is in my prayers. May he rest in peace.

I would like to offer my condolences to Tom’s parents and his brother Michael at the sudden loss of Tom. He was an amazing human being, whose subconscious goal was to make everyone’s day as good as he could make it. We were delighted to be involved in Tom’s nomination for carer of the year last November. He narrowly missed out on an award in the Mansion House that afternoon, but it was nice to see his life long service being recognised on a national level. I thank God that Tom was in Millbrae to look after mam and I hope they meet again in Heaven.
