Paul and I were neighbours.
When I was a child Paul was my older brother,
We played football together.
When I was a teenager, I moved to Dublin. Paul gave me a job.
When I played football at corner-back for St. Michael's Paul was our goalie. He gave me plenty of advice(especially when I crossed the half-way line). He had my back.
Over the years, Paul was my football trainer and coach. He was my chauffeur. He was my friend.
He was my role model. A true gentleman.
I will really miss him.
