Mickey, you came into my life when i had hit rock bottom. You pulled me out of it with your cheers of 'CHEESECAKE!' when something good happened and telling me to get in that field when you disagreed with me. RIP.

I had the pleasure of working with Mickey at Tig Eoin for a number of years. He was a man who brought so much joy and wit to the house and spoke with glint in his eye.

Excursions were always great fun as we travelled Ireland in the Tig Eoin disco bus with Mikey at the helm controlling the volume. You could rely on him to have a pocketful of CDs to keep us entertained.

He'll be sadly missed.
