It was with great sadness I learned of Marys passing on Monday morning though I knew she was quite ill. I worked with Mary for many years ,Ferrycarrig Regatta ,Politics and many community events, everyone who knew Mary knew she was larger than life. Mary done more than most of us can dream of, especially after she had finished rearing four boys mostly on her own as her beloved Seamus had passed away. Apart from all the other things she done in .between . There was the annual pilgrimage t o our Ladys Island to Knock ,Bannow show Arbour Hill . if it didnt interfere with family gatherings there were Ard Fhisenna visits to Dail Eireann she even managed to visit the European Parliment more than once. Her greatest commitment apart from her family, who were absolute, was her community any words of mine would be inadequate to describe, so I wont go there . Mary knocked on many doors in her life The one she went through on monday morning was wide open .Enter thou good and faithful servant. Nib bheidh a leitheid ann aris. SUAIMEAS SIORI aMhaire tom reck
