Deepest sympathy to the Guard family on the passing of Joy. We attended the same exercise class in Newbridge for a number of years before ill health intervened. It was always a pleasure to visit her beautiful garden near Blessington Lake and meet her beloved dog, Rosie. May Joy rest in peace.

Condolences to all the family. I was very sorry not to be with you today to celebrate a life well lived. We had many wonderful fun filled trips to gardens in the UK Italy France and the Netherlands all organised by Joy. She found us great hotels with lovely food they were always such fun and we usually came back laden down with plants. She was a good friend who is sorely missed. RIP

She had a great love of plants and gardening and many people including lots of our members enjoyed visits to her wonderful garden in Ballyknockan.
In the early years of our club, Joy joined us on many garden trips and she was always available to share her knowledge and give advice.

May Joy now rest peacefully in Heavens garden.
