My sympathy to all of Imogen's family. I am grateful to have met her during the renovations of St Mel's Cathedral after the fire. She has left a great legacy of art in so many places around the county, and will continue to have her presence felt through them.

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Imogen. My deepest and sincere condolences to her family. Imogen was a wonderful artist and a beautiful person. Imogen touched so many with her gentle smile and kindness. It is a testament to who she was that in a recent interview, when asked if there was an afterlife she replied: "I don’t like to think too much about an afterlife, but I hope there is one, because of all those wonderful people who died. They can’t be all gone. Can they?”
I will remember her so and will carry her in my heart.
— Pat Harris
I only learned today of Imogen’s death as I read last Saturday’s paper. Watching the funeral was an honour as I have loved her work since I’m not sure when?!?!
The Madonnas, the schoolchildren in Tyrellspass are sehr hübsch!! Her life and her work have enhanced my life and hearing about her belief in the miraculous at her funeral was so beautiful. Having the opportunity to watch her funeral felt miraculous to me!!
The eulogies were so lovely and funny .
Gach grá chugat Imogen ..German by birth and Irish by adoption .. suaimhneas síoraí chugat.

Imogen phoned me out of the blue about seven years ago. She had listened to my mother's (Rita Lynch) voice on a CD I sent her through Aisling. She was deeply touched by Rita's voice & said it was the most beautiful she had ever heard. Imogen didn't need to call me but she did and I shall treasure that conversation for ever.
Her artistic work is her inspirational and lasting legacy - the madonna & children bronze in Dingle Church is my personal favourite. Thank you Imogen & rest now in peace.
Sincere sympathy to Aisling, Aoibheann and all the family.
— Mary Davies, Monkstown. CoCork

„Meine Zeit steht in Deinen Händen

Deine Wille.
— Dr. Wilhelma Kaever-Liebenow

My sympathies to Imogen's extended family on Imogen's death. She was a delightful person, gracious and always hospitable, and a great conversationalist. Her artistic work is superb and will be her lasting legacy. She brought us into her work and enabled us to appreciate it from the inside. Imogen was a towering and true artist who inspired us all. Her work lives on as utterly beautiful and brilliantly crafted art. She was steely and resilient and possessed razor-sharp critical faculties when talking about sculpture and painting. Her knowledge and wisdom was powerful. She had experienced more of life than most. We loved her. She was beloved by all. She was a profound person. She was always in top form - charming, smiling, totally engaged and immaculately and stylishly dressed. She had such style in so many ways. An honour to have known her. Sleep well dear Imogen.

Sincere condolences to Imogen’s family on her passing R.I.P. I had the privilege of being introduced to Imogen by the late Mgr. Tom Fehily around the time of the visit of Pope St. John Paul 11 Circa 1979. Imogen was an amazing artist and wonderful company. I was delighted to meet with her many times at the National Concert Hall, in particular at Our Lady’s Choral Society annual performance of Handel’s Messiah. The last time I met her was with our mutual friend Angel, another wonderful artist. We went for a meal with Imogen and retired to her house for a magnificent ‘digestive’.
She was a most interesting an inspirational artist. She expressed her faith through her gift of art and has left us a wonderful legacy that will evoke reflection in our own spirituality for our remaining years.
Imogen “May the Lord Bless you and keep you, may He make his face to shine upon you and give you His Peace “ 🙏

Imogen was a wonderful neighbour of mine when I lived in Sandycove. She had a seminal influence on my life and I wish to pay tribute to her. Not only was she a supreme artist, she was also a superlative human being.

She loved children and mine were no exception. She taught them about the beauty of nature and invited them both - Tui and Nick - into her garden often. They just loved her. Her fish pond was a favourite spot.

I enjoyed many happy conversations with Imogen in her studio and watched her as she worked on pieces twice her size. She never flinched. What was really great about Imogen was that she had no pretences. She spoke the truth. Always.

I and Tui and Nick were privileged to have been in Imogen’s orbit. I have many fond memories of her and Maria Simonds-Gooding - another Sandycove neighbour and renowned artist - chatting late into the night about everything and nothing. What great women! What an amazing place to be at that time.

Imogen, you will always be in my heart. You will live forever through your art and the humanity it breathes.

Aisling and Émile - thinking of you.
