To Eve, John and the Treacy and Murphy families, my sincerest condolences on the passing of Gerty. She was an amazing woman who welcomed me into her home after Peggy passed. I have spent many years in and out of the house. I have very fond memories of Gerty that I will treasure. She was always kind and sincere and so full of fun..a true lady. I will miss you

My sincere condolence to John, Eve, and all the extended Murphy family on the passing of Gertie. When I was 3 or 4 years of age I was convinced she was the REAL Goldilocks. My mam used to bring me into the bank and we would let others in the que passed while we waited to see Goldilocks. She always made a fuss of me and I always left in awe of her. The name stuck, and even in my 40's when I would meet her I would say "Hello Goldilocks". I hope you are at peace and wherever you are I hope its just right.
