Miss Moore taught me musical theory in the School of Music in Limerick in the 1970s and made it interesting! Whenever I hear Bach's Wachet Auf or De Falla's Three Cornered Hat they remind me of her and those evening classes. My sincere sympathy on her death.

I am so sorry to hear this news. I had the privilege of being taught piano by Ms Moore in the Limerick School of Music and later in her beautiful home in Clonshavoy. She was an extremely knowledgeable and dedicated teacher and I feel so very lucky to have learned so much from her. May she rest in peace.
— Deirdre Millane, piano student
Sincere sympathy to Miss Moore's family and loved ones. She was a most accomplished lady. We remember her even more so for her kindness. Many years ago,one of us would travel to her home weekly as she gave piano lessons to our daughter there. On cold winter nights, she would invite whichever one of us arrived to wait in her home for the duration of the lesson. She would always plug in a heater in her parlour to ensure comfort and she would leave us in the compionable company of her beloved dog, Truffles!
May she be rewarded in heaven for all the music she shared with so many.Rest in peace, Miss Moore.
— Pat and Marie Millane

I am very sorry to hear of Kokie's passing. She was a lovely lady and i walked many a day with her up and down the avenue. For a woman in her 80's she certainly could walk surprisingly fast. Love and light to you kokie and may your family find comfort in this difficult time.

Sincere sympathy to Miss Moore’s family and friends.
She was Head of C.D.S. in the 1960s, taught music and theory, and was involved in the choir of St. Peter’s Church, Dublin teaching us to sing properly!
She kept her harp and her piano in her office, and I have a ghastly memory of playing scales appallingly on that piano before breakfast - she could hear me from her bedroom on the floor above! A bad start to the day for both of us!
I remember a kind cheerful lady, whose love of music has been passed on to many, and our lives have been enriched by her teaching.
— Joy Hill-Marsden

I met Frances in the Municipal School of Music Limerick and she was a most inspiring Piano, Music Theory Teacher, Mentor and work colleague. She was generous enough to share her charming home for private lessons. Her gardens and pets added to the charm. Fond memories and forever grateful for her guidance. Sincere condolences to her family and friends. Thinking of you all at this time.

— John & Theresa Egan Abington Murroe
I first met Kokie when she was the organist in Christ Church, Bray, and I was very fortunate to be invited to stay with her many times in Clonshavoy after she moved to live there. Staying with Kokie was a delight! She was always such interesting company, and her hospitality knew no bounds. Working with her in her lovely garden was always such fun (usually joined by several pets!), and I often think of her as I tend to my own (much smaller!) garden. She was an inspirational musician and teacher and instilled an enthusiasm in music in many generations of pupils and colleagues. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends, but chiefly by Audrey and her family, to whom I send my deepest sympathy.

I was very sorry to read of Kokie's death. As my theory teacher she was hugely influential in my music career and along with other wonderful teachers in LSOM is the reason I am now a music teacher. I still use phrases she instilled in us in theory class in my own teaching. I'm sorry I can't be at her funeral. Constance
