Thinking of you all at this very sad time at the death of your dear dear Mum, Denise. She was always such a talented lady in all areas of her life - she was so intelligent, so creative with all her skills in art, painting, embroidery, knitting; along with all her interests in art, history; her love of the natural world, gardening; her fitness & had always enjoyed good health. Denise seemed to always be full of joy & happiness. She shall be greatly missed by all the wonderful family & friends.
As a cousin, Denise was the head of us all, highly thought of & respected.
Denise, rest in peace with your dear husband, Ross.
Sending you great love at this sad time - you are very much in our hearts & thoughts. With much love Jenny & Peter xxxx
Youngest Daughter of Aunty Kiki.
— Jenny & Peter Elphick
Denise was a beautiful person, inside & out. She exuded vibrancy; her smile lit up the room. Her thick, beautiful auburn hair was a delight to behold. As a cousin, we didn’t meet up very much but, when we did, she always seemed very happy, fun to be with & interested to catch up on all my news.

She diligently researched our family tree & was able to give detailed, fascinating information on our relatives.
She will be much missed.
— Gillian LeVesconte (néé Tonkin)

With such sadness that a sparkling light is extinguished.Denise was the eldest of my generation in the Whitbread descendants. As such she was the model of how to be- through the 60s when I was a teenager -& she married Roger so happily - through to much more recent trips to San Francisco together and visits I made to her two homes in Ireland. I will miss knowing she is in the world.
— Rosemary Napper
