McGhiolla Dhe writes....
Dad / Grandad passing, loosen the normally solid footing,
Pebbly, unsure and unfamiliar pathway,
New journey, heartache, lonely, growing-up, gratitude for times past,
Remember, a life lived, a smile, a gesture, keep it close to the heart.

— Anne Feerick (Colhoun)
We had the good fortune to have had David, as a neighbour for more than 30 years . Our over the wall chats regularly ended with a flurry of activity, usually associated with a hot tip needing a response. The only distraction was his beloved tomatoe crops. Not for David any old plant providers. He made an annual trip to a monastery no less, not to pray but to get plants that must have been blessed! Certainly my wife’s sungold or crimson collection paled in comparison. The friendly rivalry has sadly come to an end but the memories live on.

We will miss David and would like to share and support Maureen and family in their grief. May all those those happy memories console you.
