We were so saddened to learn of Brid passing. Brid was a true lady who always had time for both young & old. I have great memories of her & Tonys visits to our house on Sunday nights, when her and Mam would spend hours chatting while they knitted to their hearts content. She will be greatly missed in Harristown. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Sincere sympathy to the whole Kirwan family on the loss of Brid. I first knew Brid as my Irish , Commerce and Civics teacher in my first year as a student of Our Lady of Mercy Secondary School.
I later had the great pleasure of working alongside her as a colleague in The Mercy when I began my own teaching career there. Her love for and pride in her family was palpable. We shared a love of gardening and I always enjoyed our chats and her advice. Her warm and gentle nature will be much missed by all who knew
and loved her.
