"Such loss can seem unbearable,
The pain can seem forever.
But at these times a family
And friends are brought together.
Then strength is found in unity
And sympathy in feeling
And memories of more happy times
Will bring you peace and healing."

Heartfelt condolences to all of Brenda’s extended and much loved family. Those of us who had the honour of working with her and also had the privilege of calling her our friend felt that we personally knew each member of her beloved family because she spoke of them so warmly and proudly. This pride and happiness was clearly evident in the family photos of her birthday celebrations in January. Thankfully there are many, many happy memories of times spent with Brenda throughout the years that we will be drawing on during this sad time. May she rest in peace after a life well lived.

Brenda was a great, great friend to me and my family, and we will miss her so much.
We had great and interesting times as union colleagues, and became closer when Brenda moved to Firhouse, just down the road from me.
I will forever remember our journeys to and from work, where we discussed every topic under the sun, she was so knowledgeable and wise, and lately, since my retirement, our long leisurely lunches, which again were full of chat and fun.

Brenda was very brave while coping with her illness and anytime I saw her I was met with her beaming smile.

Rest in peace Brenda.

As always, love Adrienne, Willie, Cathal. Delphine, Maeve & Liam x
