The death has occurred of Christy Fitzsimons, Carga, Culloville, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff at Castleross Nursing Home, Sunday 14th April 2024. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Alice Fitzsimons, by his brothers Gene and Jimmie, sisters Minnie and Nancy, sisters-in-law Gertie and Julia and his brother-in-law James Murphy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed with love by his loving daughter Ann, son Michael, grandchildren Joseph, Vicky, Gemma and Tiffany, sister Peggy Fitzsimons, brother-in-law Vincent Duffy, great-grandchildren Grace, Harrison, Oakley, Jacob, Emily, Sophie and Colson, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Deery’s Funeral Home, Carrickmacross (A81 C653), on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning from Deery’s Funeral Home to The Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen (A91 T973) arriving for Requiem Mass at 12noon. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
