On 27th April 2024. Peacefully but unexpectedly surrounded by her family in the tender loving care of the staff of St Mary’s Ward at the Mercy University Hospital. Catherine (Née Kavanagh). Dearly beloved partner of Paddy Dowling, adored mother of Tom, Tracy (Moriarty) and Trevor and wife of the late Sean. Sister of the late John and William. Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren, Aaron, Abigail, Korey, Conor, Darragh, Saoirse, Tadgh, Niamh, James, Tiernan, Roisin, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brothers Anthony, Terry, sisters Nora, Bernie, Elizabeth, Goretti, sisters-in-law, bothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

May Catherine rest in peace.

Lying in repose in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill. Old Youghal Rd, Mayfield, Cork, on Tuesday 30th April 2024 from 5.00 to 6.00pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 1st May at St. Brendan’s Church, The Glen at 11.00am, followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy.
