Sweeney (née Curran), Barbara, (Foxrock and Spiddal, Co. Galway) – 12th April, 2024, peacefully at Ashbury Nursing Home, Kill of the Grange, Co. Dublin. Dearly beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tom) Sweeney. Sadly and lovingly missed by Piaras, Eamon and Fionnuala, daughter-in-law Louise, grandchildren Jonah and Ben, extended family and friends. Máthair agus Múinteoir (latterly, Newpark Comprehensive, Blackrock).

Barbara will repose at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94 X308) on Tuesday, 16th April 2024, from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral service on Wednesday, April 17th 2024, at Mount Jerome, Harold's Cross (Victorian Chapel), at 2.30pm. For those who cannot attend the service, you can view it live by clicking here.
